Manuals of BOLEH (for technicians and researchers)

INTRODUCTION

BOLEH methodology to map biodiversity and carbon stock consists of the following three steps, which requires the knowledge of GIS, statistics and field survey.

Follow the outline of each step, and download manuals/annexes for the detailed explanation of the procedure.

The statistical analyses conducted in the BOLEH method are all performed using the R software that can be downloaded freely from the website (https://www.r-project.org). Although this manual is produced to aid statistical analyses without prior in-depth knowledge, learning the basics of R software is highly recommended to perform those statistical analyses. On the other hand, satellite analyses for vegetation classification and model extrapolation require more technical knowledge and skills on GIS software (ArcGIS) and other related software.
